Tara Walker is an artist, writer, and assistant professor of communication at St. Bonaventure University. She grew up in Colorado, and came to Western New York in 2020 after completing her graduate work in media research and practice at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her book of poetry and drawings, Exquisite Disgust was published by the Little Door press in 2018. Her artwork is inspired by the perfect strangeness of nature and the constancy of change. In her paintings, she incorporates the sharp observation of a cultural critic, the keen eye of a naturalist, and the sense of humor of an imperfect human.
